2026 Private Commission OVERVIEW:
Everything made in the studio is one of a kind, and crafted by hand in Southern Rhode Island. I use 100% recycled and repurposed materials from donations and deadstock, and I source all Raw Materials from fair-trade co-operatives or local Farms. I also incorporate many "problem" materials like plastic trash bags, drinking straws, fruit netting, polyester/acrylic fibers, plastic wrap, and large-scale hand dyed fabric like bed sheets or old clothing that cannot be donated.
General Timeline If we work together:
We will have an initial discussion on the creative vision for your space: overall look, colors and textures for the piece, as well as size and pricing.
A Digital Design and Creative Contract is agreed upon by all parties.
2. Fiber samples will be sent to the client for approval with additional drawings or design edits if applicable.
Materials are fully Sourced and Weaving begins
Client will receive at least two email “check ins” with photos of in progress work.
Work is completed - final payment is made - and work is either shipped or delivered.
